Weirdly, it was the taller Winchester brother who showed up with the food he'd called the cafe to ask Kitty about. He came pushing a room service cart, tried to bring it in, and was met with a solid glare by Kash for the abruptly obvious curiosity. His terse, "Thank you. I've got it," plainly meant he'd spear Sam in the liver if he so much as looked at Z wrong. Sam didn't look threatened, but he clearly got the message.

The next arrival came in a bundle of joyous albino energy, full of hugs and kisses, a soft, loose and comfortable dress and keen eyes. "Dairy, berries, granola, lox, bagels, cream cheese, water...you know twins run in the family, right?"

Kash did his best to take that in stride and delivered the dress to his bathing beauty. It wasn't until he returned from the bath that he realized, "You knew?"

Lillith shrugged apologetically. "It was not for me to tell."

At that, Kash grunted acknowledgment. "Make yourself useful. Send to Vax, tell him Steph can come with him if they want. I've got Vex, she'll tell Percy. You get Pike, and I'll get Snow, Curnen, and--" He glanced at Lillith whose tail was lashing. He arched a brow at her.

She folded her arms and arched a brow back.

Right. Z. Pregnant. Probably not so good to invite Molly. Or Curnen, not now. "Snow."

Lillith smiled. "Snow."

Those who received Lillith's Sending were told, Zahra's here! Room 123. Come when you can!.

Vex heard a quiet She's here, filled with all of the love he'd been swallowing for months, and Rm. 123. See you soon. And Snow heard It's Kash. Sorry for the magic. Can you get Socks and come to 123? Zahra's here.

When Zahra emerged, she found Kash sitting with a plate of food for her and Lillith bounding over to hug her, only to be interrupted by eager knocking on the door.

[ooc: title lyric from Blackmore's Night "Fires at Midnight"; tag Kash, tag Zahra, tag Lillith, tag each other, have fun!]

Z's glasses in his hands, Kash sat on the black and silver couch trying yet again to Send to her. For the past day and a half, he'd done nothing but sleep, eat trail rations, and use Sending spells. Yeah, Sending failed between dimensions once in awhile, but it should've worked by now. The only reason it wouldn't... he couldn't let himself think that, especially since Vex hadn't answered yet either.

"Come on, Z," he muttered as he cast the spell again and then waited. And waited.

And waited.

Fuck.

He set her glasses down on his thigh, rubbed his eyes with the heel of his hands. Two more casts before he'd have to rest eight hours to try again and he wasn't tired. Desperate, but not tired.

Eyes closed, he let his mind slide over mental images of Vox Machina. The Sending would be strongest where is mind held the clearest image. His interest in Keyleth having long since subsided, his mind vacillated between the twins. Vex yesterday, so fine, he'd try Vax today.

25 words.

Trapped in pocket dimension. Can't reach Z. He wavered over whether to mention Vex, but decided Vax would flip out over Vex and not say anything helpful if he even reached him. Get Allura and Gilmore on finding me. This place is freaking weird. Is Raishan dead yet?
